All Kinds of Good Stuff

We have had all kinds of good stuff happen lately. Also some not so good stuff, as with all things there is always opposition. As some of you know Jon was baptised on March 21st, and confirmed on the 22nd. This was an awesome day for our family. He has received the Aaronic Priesthood, and got his first calling and the Assistant Scout Master to the 11 year old group. This should be fun since Jon has never really been camping all that much.

The girls are getting so big Anjolie turned 8 years old. We are trying to figure out when she can be baptised as she is with her dad on all the child of record baptism days. So we'll see about that one.

Matt, Jen, Connor, and Jeremy came for a visit. We had a great time. It was so nice to see them and be able to hang out. The kids had a blast together. We celebrated Connor's 3rd birthday while they were here.

Jon and I got to go to an Angel's game with Heather and Michael against the Tigers. GREAT SEATS! We sat first row behind the visitor's dugout. Lots of funny stuff you see sitting down so low. It was awesome, we had a really good time.

Since it is getting warmer we have taken the girls swimming a few times. Rhianna is a crack up, she has no fear. She thinks she cam swim so will walk off the steps and put her arms out like she is gonna swim and if I am holding her she tries to pry my arms off her so she can take off. Bella is a princess and likes to be walked around the pool. Hahaha!

My mom got a call last night from some friends of ours saying they got tickets to see Dancing With The Stars taping on Monday and would we like to come. This is one of my mom's favorite shows, so it will be really fun to go.

With all this good stuff we did also have our new puppy attack our little dog Sushi. We had to give back the new puppy, she has found a new home though. Sushi is now fine 2 surgeries and about $1000 later. We also had two tires blow, our stove selectively work for a bit, and our dishwasher leak everywhere. Lots of fun stuff.

Still, we are very happy and feel very blessed. I'll post some new pictures next time. The girls are so much bigger than the last posted pictures.

Carr Fam Update

So I know I am so bad about keeping this up and haven't done it for awhile so here it is in a nutshell. Thanksgiving was great I made dinner for my parents and my family. Christmas/my birthday was the best one ever. It was so much fun! The girls got great gifts and loved all of them and were grateful for everything. The best gift according to the two oldest was the Nintendo Wii. They were so shocked. The two little ones got dolls they loved. Everyone got a ton of cute clothes and some other fun stuff. Jon and I got Cassidy and Anjolie a new puppy. Her name is Hope and she is a black lab/terrier mix, and got the little ones a big girl swing set. Kyle came down the 2nd week of Christmas break and we very much enjoyed seeing him. January we headed to Chandler, AZ for a long weekend to see my brother in law and sister in law and their boys, Nicholas who turned 2 and Jackson who was born in November (too cute!). We also got to see Jon's parents who recently moved to Chandler and their new house. It was a really nice visit. On the way to Chandler we even hit Buckeye to see my Uncle Art and Aunt Dawn. We are now back to the same ol' same ol' of school/work/day to day normal stuff. But we are getting ready to head to Utah the end of Feb. for Matt and Jen's new little guy's blessing. Jeremy was born in December and because of the snow they waited to have him blessed so more of us could come up. My Mom does not drive in snow. I am really excited to see my brother and sister-in-law and spend time with their boys Connor and Jeremy. Bella is ready too! She keeps telling me Connor has a lot of toys for her to play with.
So that's pretty much up to date. Jon's company did confirm that by June of 2010 they will be completely out of California so he did get warning if he does not want to move with the company to Oklahoma City, OK (NO WAY!!!) that he will loose his job sometime between Nov. 15 2009 and Jun 2010. Needless to say we are not going. But they will give him 60 days notice so he can look for a new job and he will get a very nice severance package, on the bright side. Here are a few new pics, I'll post more later. I still have to download a bunch.

Disneyland

So Labor Day we decided to take Isabella and Rhianna to Disneyland. We have our passes but hadn't used them in a little while. The girls had a blast, they both like it more everytime they go. If you look at the pictures in reverse order you will see our day started out great Isabella finally got to ride Dumbo for the first time. Last couple of times we have tried to get on Dumbo the line was way too long, and then there was the time where we were almost to the front of the line, I was holding Bella and all of a sudden felt a warm sensation.........I guess how I was holding her had made her diaper shift and created a gap so she pee'd all over my shirt and herself (Cassidy and Anjolie thought this was hysterical). Needless to say we left. But yesterday she rode Dumbo and loved it. She also got on the Carrosel and liked it even though she was not on a stationary animal. Before she was scared when the animals went up and down. We also rode the Pooh Bear ride. This was Bella and Rhianna's 2nd time riding that. The first time they both hated it, but that might have had something to do with hust having rode on the Pirates of the Carribean and they hated that and Pooh Bear is a dark ride also. Anyway, yesterday they both loved Pooh Bear and Bella wanted to go on it again and again. Both girls got to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tiger which they were a little unsure of but no meltdowns.

We left Disneyland and went over to California Adventure because Bella loves the Bug's Life Land over there so we went on Himlick's train, I took Bella on and Jon stayed with Rhianna as she was already passed out. While Bella and I were in line we were playing I was tickling her and she wanted me to pretend to eat her hand, which I did, only after pretending to eat her hand I tasted something really salty............yes you guessed it, it was a booger. Thank you soooooo much for sharing Bella!! You can bet I will be doing a booger check of her hands before doing that again. It was soooo disgusting!! Anyway we finished off the day with a few more rides. Rhianna fell asleep a little over halfway through. Isabella was fine until the last then you could tell she was tired. The first picture below this post was her I am soooo tired meltdown she had before we left. She is soo cute, she is even cute when she is upset.

Vacation

So we loaded up all the kids in the car and headed to Utah for a little family vacation this last week.

It was a really long drive for the kids but we had a great time. We took the kids to the zoo, horseback riding, to temple square, and got to see lots of family. The girls loved it!!
When Isabella saw the Rhino she said "Oh my goodness gracious!" it was so darn cute.
Cassidy loved the horses and is now asking incessantly if she can have one.
Anjolie loved going up to the top of the Joseph Smith building and checking out the view.
As far as Rhianna she is just my happy camper all the way around.
Here are a few pics from the trip.
